The completion of continuing education courses is mandatory for the renewal of all licenses — including agents, adjusters and limited sub agents.

License Renewal Qualification: All full licensees are required by the State of Georgia to complete 15 (fifteen) hours of continuing education; 3 hours of which must be in ethics for the first 20 years. Twenty-year veterans should complete 10 hours of continuing education; 3 hours of which must be in ethics. Limited sub agents should complete 5 hours of continuing education; the ethics requirement is waived for limited sub agents only.

The license renewal date has now been fixed for all license types: All licenses must be renewed by November 1st of each year.
